Baccarat is a popular card game. The goal of this game is to get a point total value as close to 9 as possible over the course of a 2-3 card hand.

The Game

One standard 52 card deck is used in the game. The cards are shuffled prior to each new round.

How to Play

A hand of baccarat begins when all bets have been placed on the desired betting area of the table – “Player”, or “Dealer”, or “Tie”. Minimum bet is 1, maximum - 1000.

The round’s history is shown in the upper left part of the screen.

Clicking the “Deal” button, the dealer and the player both receive two cards; then they count their points.

The values of the cards are as follows:

  • Ace counts as one
  • 2 through 9 count according to its number values
  • Face cards and 10 count as zero

If total amount of points equals 10 or more, then 10 is subtracted from the it and the remainder is considered as a result of the hand (for example, 7+6=13=3 or 4+6=10=0)

The participant (player or dealer) who got 9 points wins. The player who got 8 points is considered as a winner if opponent has less. If neither of participants has 8 or 9 points, the third card is dealt to the player or dealer, or to both of them according to the Third Card Rules.

If Tie happens when betting on Player or Banker, the bet returns to the player.

  • Bet on Player is paid 1 to 1.
  • Bet on Dealer is paid 1 to 1 minus 5% of commission.
  • Bet on Tie is paid 8 to 1.

Third Card Rule

Third Card Rule governs when the player and/or the banker will automatically be dealt the third card in the game.

  • If either player or dealer has the cards total equals to 8 or 9, they both stand (this rule override the others).
  • The card is dealt to the player first, then to dealer.
